Golden Visa Program

Since July 2013, Greece has implemented its Golden Visa program which allows non-EU nationals, and their family members, to obtain permanent residency through investment in Greece. By far the most popular option is through investing a minimum of €250,000 in real estate in Greece. Investors may choose also to rent out their investment property.

Greece's Golden Visa program not only grants permanent residency for the investor and their family members (renewable every 5 years), but also unlocks visa-free access to the EU Schengen zone. Golden Visa holders may eventually qualify for Greek citizenship if all necessary conditions and requirements are met.
